INITIAL CONSULTATION
I offer a 20 minute initial consultation over telephone or video at no charge. This is an opportunity for you to share what brings you to counselling and to ask any questions you may have about my approach and what to expect. It also is an opportunity for you to see if I feel like a good fit for you as a counsellor.

RATES
The current BCACC standards suggest fees ranging from $135-$150 per 50-minute individual session. At Retreat Cove Counselling, we charge $130 for a 50 minute individual session.

I have limited sliding-scale rates available. Please feel free to ask for more information about these.

FUNDING

Extended Health Benefits
Many employee benefits cover Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Please check with your provider beforehand to see if you are covered.   
Direct Billing: RCC’s are currently unable to direct bill in British Columbia. We bill the client and then the client can submit invoices to their insurance provider for coverage.

Crime Victim Assistance Program Counselling coverage for victims, immediate family members and some witnesses in coping with the effects of violent crime that occurred in BC.  Police report not required. 

Charlene Reaveley Children’s Charity Offers 100% funded counselling sessions with a counsellor of your choice for both children and their immediate family members after experiencing the loss of a loved one. 

Variety Club Funding up to $2500 a year in mental wellness supports for qualifying children up to 19 years of age.
